The roles, responsibilities and relevant interested parties have been communicated to the requirements of the quality management system of the international standard of ISO 9001.

WHS policy

Scottech, as part of the OTS Group, recognizes its responsibility to provide a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and anyone else affected by our operations. We will take all reasonably practicable measures to eliminate or minimise risks to health and safety. Commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) is integral to our company ethos and is reflected in our aim to prevent injury and ill health, and to promote a culture where health and safety is a priority.

We are committed to complying with Work Health and Safety/Occupational Health and Safety Legislation in Western Australia (WA) in accordance with WHS ACT 2020 (WA) and the WHS REGS 2022 (WA). We will also comply with any other relevant legislation, applicable Codes of Practice and Australian Standards as far as possible.


Environmental policy

Scottech is committed to environmental stewardship, ensuring our operations protect and enhance the natural environment of Western Australia. Our Environmental Policy outlines our commitment to comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations, minimise environmental impacts, and promote sustainable practices in line with the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act), Environmental Protection Regulations 1987, and other applicable Western Australian laws.

Scottech will comply with all applicable Western Australian environmental legislation and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Environmental Protection Act 1986: Preventing, controlling, and abating pollution and environmental harm while protecting the environment.
  • Environmental Protection Regulations 1987: Governing specific environmental management requirements, such as waste and emissions.
  • Environmental Protection (Unauthorised Discharges) Regulations 2004: Prohibiting unauthorised discharges of pollutants.
  • Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997: Managing noise emissions to protect community amenity.
  • Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2020: Incorporating reforms for efficient regulation, native vegetation protection, and cost recovery.

Any applicable bilateral agreements under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) for matters of national environmental significance.
